The Civic Library of Jesolo organizes the basic level EXPRESSIVE READING WORKSHOP, curated by the actor, director and speaker Tito Pavan.

The course is aimed at all those who wish to approach the written text through reading or interpretation. Between diction, expressiveness, tone and rhythm, a workshop to discover how to use the voice and gestures for poems, stories, scripts, fairy tales, documents and reports.
The topics scheduled are:
· Communicate with voice and body.
· Diction: the rudiments; when needed and when not.
· The defects (or alleged ones) of pronunciation.
· Voice and text: timbre, rhythm, intonation, volume, pauses, keywords.
· The body and the text: posture, gaze, movement.
· Analysis and reading of texts of different types: poems, stories, fairy tales, documents, work reports.
Theatrical reading: introduction to interpretation.
· The commercial target: pace and intensity.
· Reading with musical accompaniment.
· The microphone: what changes and how to best use it.
