An event dedicated to the history of the Venetian flag, from the legendary origins of the lion of St. Mark to the art of dyeing and decorating fabrics, including interesting facts about Venetian red and the symbols of the Serenissima. A fascinating opportunity to learn more about the traditions, meanings and history of one of the most recognisable flags in the world.
The event is open to residents and tourists and will be held on 3 March from 6pm to 9pm at the Jesolo Civic Library, in Piazzetta Jesolo 1. Admission is free.
The initiative is part of the programme “Cao de Ano ai tempi della Serenissima – Cao de Ano 2026” (Cao de Ano in the time of the Serenissima – Cao de Ano 2026).
