The commemoration for the 78th anniversary of the Liberation will be held on Tuesday 25 April 2023 in Piazza Primo Maggio in Jesolo Paese. With the participation of the Fanfara dei Bersaglieri 'Leopoldo Pellas' of Jesolo.
25 April is important to remind us all of the value of freedom, but also those of brotherhood, peace and solidarity so that certain events never have to be repeated.
Citizens are invited to display the tricolour as a sign of participation.
Programme of the Commemoration
9.45 a.m.: Piazza I Maggio meeting and procession formation.
10.15 a.m.: flag-raising in Piazza G. Matteotti, wreath-laying at the war memorial and wreath-throwing on the River Sile.
10.30am: transfer of the cortege to Piazzetta Partigiani d'Italia, flag raising and wreath laying, speeches.
