The Amici del Cuore Association, in collaboration with Jesolo Town Council, is promoting the “Jesolo Heart-Safe City” project through the donation of defibrillators and the organisation of BLS-D courses.
On Saturday 9 May, the second training course will be held, focusing on cardiac massage, the use of defibrillators and airway clearance techniques. The course will be led by staff from the Italian Red Cross – San Donà di Piave Committee and will enable participants to learn essential life-saving techniques, such as CPR and the Heimlich manoeuvre.
The initiative is aimed at residents and tourists and will take place at the Centro S. Pertini in Jesolo, on Via Anita Garibaldi, from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm.
The participation fee is €20 and places are limited to a maximum of 20 participants.
