An evening of exceptional music will enliven Piazza Mazzini, where Beatrice Venezi will conduct the orchestra I Virtuosi Italiani in a programme of great intensity featuring Ein Sommernachstraum (A Midsummer Night's Dream) op. 21, Meeresstille und glückliche Fahrt op. 27 by Felix Mendelssohn and Symphony No. 7 by Ludwig van Beethoven. Considered to be one of the most internationally acclaimed conductors, Beatrice Venezi has built an outstanding artistic career and has been listed by Forbes as one of the 100 Young Leaders of the Future and by Fortune as one of the 40 most influential under 40; she is currently Principal Guest Conductor of the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. Performing alongside him will be I Virtuosi Italiani, one of the most prestigious orchestral groups on the world music scene, esteemed for its artistic quality and ability to weave tradition and contemporary languages.
